We are old-fashioned craftspeople who live in the modern world. We believe in making quality products that last. We grow many of our own materials, including wood, Jacob Sheep wool, and dye herbs. Shawn and Radha make all the brooms, Jeanette does the spinning and weaving.
At this time, all brooms are custom made when ordered. Shawn and Radha tie their unique broom corn brooms by hand. The handles for the larger brooms come from hardwoods that are sustainably harvested by clearing out the undergrowth in the Ozark forests. We are happy to create custom brooms in your colors or based on your décor. We do all our own broom corn dyeing. Custom orders can take from 3 to 4 weeks.
Radha and Jen hand shear our sheep every year in March. We use sustainable, natural farming practices in managing our flocks and wood lot.
Our Jacob sheep and guardian llama grow wonderful fibers that we spin, wash, dye, weave, crochet and felt into yarns, shawls, handbags, hats, scarves, rugs, and toys. Visit our Havencroft Farm Facebook page or web site at Havencroftfarm.com if you want to know more about our farm and critters and crafts.
----------------------
Let us know if you have any special requests when you order. We are happy to ball your skeins of yarn, just message us when you purchase a skein and let us know you'd like it in a center-pull ball.
------
Jen has been raising goats and sheep since 1979 and we have had prize-winning show flocks. We shear by hand, on a stand. It is a nice time to spend with each animal. We use natural methods of health care for our critters, including rotational grazing and weekly hands-on checks.
-------
We tie brooms, spin yarn, weave, make cheese, and crochet all the time. If you are looking for something in the way of fleece, fiber, yarn, just contact me. We might have it in the stash or being grown in the field.
-------
Ours is a smoke-free, pet-friendly workshop and home. We have pet dogs and helpful cats, so you may find some of their fibers mixed in with the wool and llama fluff.
-------
Your satisfaction is guaranteed with every purchase. Computer monitors and cameras do not always display an item accurately and fiber is a tactile thing. If you are not happy with your purchase from Havencroft Farm, just contact us to arrange a return and refund.

The threads of my life gather in our Havencroft Farm etsy shop. I've been a shepherd since 1979 and a weaver since I was 12. Our heritage flock of Jacob sheep share their fleeces with you through the items I make. Comfort from our farm to you.
